Les poids lourds du cin\u00e9ma que sont le Japon, Hong-Kong et la Chine continentale sont absents du palmar\u00e8s. L\u2019Inde, avec le film \u00ab <em>Full plate<\/em>, \u00bb a gagn\u00e9 le prix du public.\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container\">\n\t<div class=\"text\" itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n\t\t\u00ab <em>C\u2019est ma premi\u00e8re fois \u00e0 Vesoul<\/em>, \u00bb d\u00e9clare le cin\u00e9aste Wang Bing, pr\u00e9sident du jury international, et r\u00e9alisateur de \u00ab <em>A l\u2019Ouest des Rails<\/em>, \u00bb un documentaire de plus de 9 heures, unique dans le cin\u00e9ma chinois ind\u00e9pendant. \u00ab <em>Ce Festival a une place unique en Europe pour les cin\u00e9mas d\u2019Asie. Il est con\u00e7u pour les cin\u00e9philes et offre une large s\u00e9lection de films. Sa programmation est ind\u00e9pendante et de tr\u00e8s bonne qualit\u00e9. Nous avons visionn\u00e9 neuf films qui refl\u00e8tent chacun leur pays et une culture. Nous avons beaucoup discut\u00e9 pour attribuer les prix. Il a d\u00e9cern\u00e9 le Cyclo d\u2019Or au film \u00ab <em>Riverstone<\/em> \u00bb de Lalith Rathnayake (Sri Lanka). Ce film a aussi re\u00e7u le prix des Amis d\u2019Emile Guimet et une mention sp\u00e9ciale du Jury de la Critique. \u00ab <em>Riverstone<\/em> \u00bb est le roadtrip \u00e0 travers les paysages montagneux du Sri Lanka de trois policiers accompagnant un jeune prisonnier pour une ex\u00e9cution extrajudiciaire. Ce r\u00e9cit r\u00e9v\u00e8le la crise que le pouvoir politique fait peser sur la survie des gens ordinaires et interroge une justice injuste et ill\u00e9gale. \u00ab <em>Dans notre pays, il est tr\u00e8s courant que l\u2019\u00c9tat, qui devrait faire respecter l\u2019\u00e9tat de droit, le bafoue au contraire. Ce film retrace les parcours tragiques de plusieurs femmes kirghizes subissant la violence et l\u2019oppression patriarcales. C\u2019est le cas de cette m\u00e8re dont la fille s\u2019est suicid\u00e9e apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 drogu\u00e9e et viol\u00e9e, dont les images sont diffus\u00e9es en ligne et qui se heurte \u00e0 une justice et une enqu\u00eate d\u00e9faillantes ; ou cette jeune femme, contrainte \u00e0 une relation intime avec un officier des forces de l\u2019ordre par peur de chantage\u2026  Le film aborde des sujets d\u2019actualit\u00e9 douloureux et appelle \u00e0 plus de justice dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Projet\u00e9 en premi\u00e8re europ\u00e9enne pour le FICA, le film kirghize devrait \u00eatre projet\u00e9 prochainement en salles. \u00ab <em>Relativement peu connu en France, le cin\u00e9ma Kirghize est de bonne qualit\u00e9 et relativement prolifique<\/em>, \u00bb commente Gavin Lee, membre du jury NETPAC, le Network for the Promotion of Asia Pacific Cinema, programmateur et producteur chinois. Ce dernier montre les tr\u00e8s nombreuses mentions du FICA en Chine, tant dans les m\u00e9dias que dans les r\u00e9seaux sociaux. \u00ab <em>Le FICA est tr\u00e8s populaire en Chine.
