Le 20 novembre 2019, Asialyst, le Mus\u00e9e Guimet et l&rsquo;agence Est-Ouest 371 coorganisaient une rencontre-d\u00e9bat sur l&rsquo;histoire de la Chine populaire, de Mao \u00e0 nos jours, \u00e0 travers les romans graphiques de deux ma\u00eetres du genre : Li Kunwu et Nie Chongrui.\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container\">\n\t<div class=\"text\" itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n\t\tA l&rsquo;occasion des 70 ans de la fondation de R\u00e9publique populaire de Chine, une soir\u00e9e exceptionnelle a r\u00e9uni au Mus\u00e9e Guimet deux des plus grands noms du roman graphique en Chine, Li Kunwu et Chongrui Nie. Cette conf\u00e9rence-d\u00e9bat a permis de d\u00e9couvrir l&rsquo;\u0153uvre de ces deux artistes qui, \u00e2g\u00e9s de 64 ans pour Li Kunwu et de 76 ans pour Chongrui Nie, ont travers\u00e9 les bouleversements de la Chine moderne. Ces deux autodidactes ont commenc\u00e9 dans la vie le premier comme simple soldat, le second comme ouvrier dans une usine d\u2019armement, avant de pouvoir mener une carri\u00e8re artistique. Leurs parcours personnels et professionnels ont ainsi \u00e9t\u00e9 profond\u00e9ment affect\u00e9s par les soubresauts de l&rsquo;\u00e9volution de la Chine, de la R\u00e9volution culturelle \u00e0 la modernisation du pays. Autant d&rsquo;\u00e9v\u00e9nements qui se retrouvent dans leurs \u0153uvres ma\u00eetresses : <a href=\"https:\/\/asialyst.com\/fr\/2016\/09\/20\/bd-la-vie-chinoise-mode-d-emploi\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Une vie chinoise<\/em><\/a> de Li Kunwu, autobiographie en plus de 700 pages de bande dessin\u00e9e, et <a href=\"https:\/\/asialyst.com\/fr\/2019\/05\/03\/bd-chine-vie-chaos-beaute-montagnes\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Au loin, une montagne\u2026,<\/em><\/a> gros volume de Chongrui Nie centr\u00e9 sur divers \u00e9pisodes cl\u00e9s de sa vie dont la R\u00e9volution culturelle.\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n\t<div class=\"text\" itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n\t\tCette rencontre a abord\u00e9 leurs parcours personnels, leurs techniques, leurs ressorts cr\u00e9atifs, mais aussi le statut du roman graphique en Chine et en France, pays qu&rsquo;ils connaissent bien tous les deux.
