sc\u00e8ne exp\u00e9rimentale newyorkaise des ann\u00e9es 1960-1970, essaya avec certaines compositions de r\u00e9aliser de l\u2019architecture avec le langage et les mots.\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container\">\n\t<div class=\"chapo\" itemprop=\"description\">\n\t\tIl cr\u00e9a des po\u00e8mes dans lesquels le son de la voix, son timbre, les mots et les images dirigeaient la perception vers des relations spatiales : des plans, des volumes et d\u2019autres \u00e9lements structurels, de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 \u00e9tablir un espace simultan\u00e9 o\u00f9 l\u2019architecture et le langage puissent coexister et se refl\u00e9ter dans un jeu de miroirs.\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container\">\n\t<div class=\"chapo\" itemprop=\"description\">\n\t\tUne fois qu&rsquo;il eut choisi de devenir architecte et designer \u00e0 plein temps, Acconci, a continu\u00e9 d&rsquo;essayer de recr\u00e9er ces genres de correspondances, avec ses designs d&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur et d&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur.\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container\">\n\t<div class=\"text\" itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n\t\tDans sa derni\u00e8re exposition \u00ab\u00a0The Beginning of Infinity\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whitespace-beijing.com\" target=\"_blank\">galerie White Space<\/a> de Caochangdi, \u00e0 Pekin, l\u2019artiste chinois Yang Jian fait sienne l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience du grand conceptuel am\u00e9ricain &#8211; avec une exp\u00e9rimentation diff\u00e9rente. \n<p>Comme on peut le lire dans l\u2019introduction donn\u00e9e par la galerie : <em>\u00ab\u00a0Cette exposition montre un roman \u00e9crit par Yang Jian sur le temps, les chemins et la destination finale, \u00e0 travers la forme d\u2019un labyrinthe construit par un architecte anonyme qui a laiss\u00e9 des notes derri\u00e8re lui.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Notre voyage dans ce \u00ab\u00a0labyrinthe\u00a0\u00bb &#8211; construit avec des structures m\u00e9talliques mobiles et de longues feuilles en plastique polym\u00e8re souples blanches et translucides qui fonctionnent comme des parois &#8211; commence comme si nous \u00e9tions en train de visiter une myst\u00e9rieuse institution scientifique dont on ne connait ni le but ni l&#8217;emplacement pr\u00e9cis.\t<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n\t<div class=\"text\" itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n\t\t<div (Cr\u00e9dit : D.R.).\t\t<\/figcaption>\n\t<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n\t<div class=\"text\" itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n\t\tA chaque tournant on peut lire, sur les feuilles-parois, des phrases et des notes qui nous donnent quelques explications sur le processus de construction utilis\u00e9 par l&rsquo;architecte ; mais aussi de simples \u00ab\u00a0fragments de vie\u00a0\u00bb qui, selon le moment, soit s\u2019identifient \u00e0 sa ligne de pens\u00e9e, soit courent juste \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9, en parall\u00e8le. \n<p>Concr\u00e8tement, la largeur du labyrinthe est limit\u00e9e : le chemin n&rsquo;est ainsi assez large que pour une seule personne. De m\u00eame, les structures m\u00e9talliques et les feuilles-parois en plastique sont froides et nues. La logique de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition \u00ab\u00a0sev\u00e8re et aseptis\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 l&rsquo;oeuvre, pousse le visiteur vers un chemin sp\u00e9cifique qui pourrait &#8211; en puissance &#8211; \u00eatre d\u00e9fi\u00e9 ou perverti (toutes les feuilles-parois sont en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 souples et amovibles) mais qui exerce un tel pouvoir psychologique qu&rsquo;il r\u00e9oriente notre perception de l&rsquo;environnement vers un sentiment d&#8217;emprisonnement.<br \/>\nPendant notre \u00ab\u00a0voyage\u00a0\u00bb, nous rencontrons plusieurs objets et \u00ab\u00a0des choses\u00a0\u00bb : certains sont informels comme cette sculpture hybride et \u00e9trange faite d&rsquo;une plante d&rsquo;int\u00e9rieure entour\u00e9e d&rsquo;un ruban de plomb, le tout s&rsquo;appuyant sur une tige de soutien ; d&rsquo;autres sont reconnaissables et m\u00e9taphoriques comme cette version en plomb et scotch industriel du lapin d&rsquo;Alice au pays des merveilles. Certains sont issus de la vie de tous les jours comme ce cabinet m\u00e9dical sur roues ou cette lanterne mont\u00e9e sur un tripode de m\u00e9treur orn\u00e9 de trois ampoules \u00e9lectriques, le tout d\u00e9licatement pos\u00e9 sur une bo\u00eete en fer rouill\u00e9e.\t<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n\t<div class=\"text\" itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n\t\t<div class=\"photo-text\" itemprop=\"image\" itemscope itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\">\n\t<figure>\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/asialyst.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/CHINE-YANG-JIAN-TRAVAIL-768x853.jpg\" class=\"article-image\" title=\"L'une des oeuvres de Yang Jian visible dans le labyrinthe. (Cr\u00e9dit : D.R.).\t\t<\/figcaption>\n\t<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n\t<div class=\"text\" itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n\t\tEnfin, d&rsquo;autres sont plus sculpturales \u00e0 proprement parler comme cette large feuille de plomb pli\u00e9e \u00e0 angle droit pour tenir debout, avec un iPad \u00e9teint ins\u00e9r\u00e9, dans ce qui ressemble \u00e0 une blesure dans le plomb.\n<p>Ainsi, hors des mots de l&rsquo;architecte anonyme, on chemine sans autre rep\u00e8re ou logique que celle propre au labyrinthe. <\/p>\n<p>Du point de vue purement artistique, l&rsquo;exposition est \u00e9l\u00e9gante et sophistiqu\u00e9e. En tant que \u00ab\u00a0plasticien\u00a0\u00bb, Yang Jian a ainsi orchestr\u00e9 des contrastes subtils entre les surfaces, les textures, les couleurs et les volumes ; le tout sans jamais quitter le spectre du noir, du blanc et du gris, en ajoutant seulement quelques touches de couleurs pastel ou primaires (par exemple, les morceaux de tissus bleus et roses, les fonds d&rsquo;\u00e9cran verd\u00e2tres ou le rouge des chiffres num\u00e9riques des led). La fa\u00e7on dont la lumi\u00e8re traverse l&rsquo;espace, dont elle se refl\u00e8te \u00e0 travers toutes les surfaces et les mat\u00e9riaux est aussi int\u00e9ressante car elle alterne sa propre \u00ab\u00a0qualit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb en passant d&rsquo;un blanc lait diffus, rappelant un vaisseau spatial, \u00e0 un gris-noir mat de gomme vulcanis\u00e9e, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la chaleur des surfaces de fer rouill\u00e9es au dense bleu-gris du plomb. <\/p>\n<p>D&rsquo;un point de vue conceptuel, Yang Jian r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 d\u00e9finir une interpr\u00e9tation physique et mentale de l\u2019espace o\u00f9 le langage se mat\u00e9rialise dans la forme du labyrinthe. Cette \u00ab\u00a0forme\u00a0\u00bb est tout \u00e0 la fois pr\u00e9cise et contraignante, mais aussi ind\u00e9termin\u00e9e et suspendue dans une dimension pr\u00e9sentant une moiti\u00e9 de mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9 tangible et une partie de projection onirique architecturale.<br \/>\nAu cours du p\u00e9riple, on peut penser se trouver dans l&rsquo;un des mondes imaginaires de Borges, se croire arriver dans l&rsquo;une des villes invisibles de Calvino ou se r\u00eaver acteur d&rsquo;une nouvelle de Philip K. Dick ou d&rsquo;un long plan s\u00e9quence de Stanley Kubrick.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0L&rsquo;infini\u00a0\u00bb propos\u00e9 par Yang Jian emporte et d\u00e9range. Ici, le monde est devenu langage et ce dernier d\u00e9finit et s\u00e9lectionne toutes les dimensions de notre espace sans jamais nous offrir d&rsquo;\u00e9chappatoire possible dans quelque direction que ce soit. Ce labyrinthe intangible aux \u00e9lements structuraux mobiles et r\u00e9organisables \u00e0 l&rsquo;infini offre des configurations illimit\u00e9es qui, si elles sont inoffensives, occupent petit \u00e0 petit tout l&rsquo;espace vide, sans jamais proposer de signification. Nous sommes ainsi prisionniers d&rsquo;une matrice qui refl\u00e8te et reproduit \u00e0 l&rsquo;infini une complexit\u00e9 structurelle sans autre but que sa prolif\u00e9ration. La pr\u00e9sence de ce labyrinthe, s\u00e9ductrice et sophistiqu\u00e9e sugg\u00e8re un \u00ab\u00a0au-del\u00e0\u00a0\u00bb qui tel le chant des sir\u00e8nes nous pousse vers un naufrage ultime qui efface et \u00e9rode toute trace et r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de notre existnce ant\u00e9rieure.<\/p>\n<p>Gaston Bachelard dans \u00ab\u00a0La po\u00e9tique de l&rsquo;espace\u00a0\u00bb \u00e9crit : <em>\u00ab\u00a0Quelquefois, la maison du futur est mieux b\u00e2tie, elle est plus l\u00e9g\u00e8re et grande que toutes les maisons du pass\u00e9, de fa\u00e7on que l\u2019image de la maison de r\u00eave est oppos\u00e9e \u00e0 celle de la maison d\u2019enfance\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. Et justement Yang Jian nous emm\u00e8ne dans cette \u00ab\u00a0maison-labyrinthe du futur\u00a0\u00bb et il laisse derri\u00e8re nous des signes en autant d&rsquo;objets \u00e9parpill\u00e9s, qui viennent peut-\u00eatre de la maison d&rsquo;enfance. <\/p>\n<p>Alors, qui est l&rsquo;architecte anonyme ?
